A part of many a local's daily routine since we opened nearly a decade ago and ever grateful for it. Serving up espresso-based drinks, batch & hand-pour filter, seasonal specials and soft drinks.

We'll just as happily make you your iced vanilla latte as we will chat about the fermentation process behind the thermal shock washed papayo that we're brewing up for you.

Coffee for home

The coffee on our retail shelves is also roasted in-house and range from espresso-suited roasts for your little machine at home, to experimental, fruit-forward coffees from renowned producers. Unsure what you're after? Just ask one of the (approachable) coffee nerds behind the counter.

The Roastery

We started roasting our own coffee in 2023 to have full control over what we were serving. We're picky about what we buy - only coffee we genuinely think is great, after the whole team have had a slurp on the cupping table.

Sourcing

We've been out to Guatemala ourselves to meet a variety of farmers, from sprawling private farms to cooperative smallholders. It's given us a lot of respect for the whole supply chain, and the sheer amount of effort that goes into the coffee that ends up in our little roastery. It's changed how we think about what we buy.

Our approach

More and more people are understanding that coffee is a fruit, and that every varietal, processing method and origin brings something different to the cup. We roast each one to bring out its own character, on a small near-infrared electric roaster that gives us precise control over the profile and the flexibility to try things without wasting a load of coffee in the process.

The Bakery

We make everything in-house. From freshly-baked bagels, every morning, to a selection of ever-changing cakes, traybakes and cookies. Always a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options available too.
